i am in the market for a new bass amp,its to be played over a drumkit and guitar, what sort of wattage am i going to need. and would http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/behringer-bxl-900-a/69595
be any good?

im not a tone junkie but would like some. general advice. how loud do i need, is that a good amp, is it worth going for the twelve pound cheaper option minus the alu speaker and can any1 else recomend a better one for 150 tops

mostly garage screwing abuot and jamming, little bit of school and pub eventually but more just for the hell of it than anything

Not Behringer. That piece of trash will konk out before a year is up. Mine did. Though mine wasn't that model, every person I know who has had a Behringer (and many I don't know) have had it blow out after having horrid tone.

65 watts will not be enough. I would say, with my experience, you need at the very least 100 watts to keep up with a decently loud drummer and a guitar. At least, 100 works for me in my band. I personally use a fender rumble 100 which costs approximately $330. I don't know how much that is in pounds, but I would suggest that for you.
