is there a difference between analog and digital pedals because i need good pedals for a tube amp (blackheart little giant). Wah, delay, phaser, flanger, chorus, metal pedal, tube screamer etc.

Usually analog is better. Especially for overdrives and distortions.
But, there are plenty of good digital pedals out there.

its really a matter of preference
wah=hmm its up to what you play, tell us
delay=if you like the digital ones, than boss, analog=memory man, #1 echo, mxr carbon copy
phaser=mxr phase 90 hands down
flanger=mxr flanger, ibanez fl-9?
chorus= ehx small clone hands down
metal pedal=ehhh good luck finding anything good...
tube screamer or an overdrive=maxon or ibanez ts-808

well it would if you modded it ? ?
if you send it to a guy he'll charge 70 for it and will do a bunch of **** for it
go check out the ultimate wah thread for more info
wahs are hard because finding a good balanced one that can do everything is hard
crybabys can do everything just okay if you ask me, voxes seem to do low gain stuff quite well, but high gain like crap, morleys the other way around
so its all in what you play
like i said

Would a blackheart sound alright with a metal muff through it?

i'm assuming it would sound better than with a **** solid state amp, and through a **** ss amp its pretty average, so yeah i would definitely try it out though
and by that i mean try the metal muff with the specific amp in the store if you can
