ok, so a friend of mine is wanting to start playing the guitar & theyre planning to buy a stagg guitar & amp, any ideas about what would be a better guitar/amp combo? please dont say "anything" lol.
oh, by the was shes left handed.
budget upto about £120 & she wants to play emo & pop punk.

You have to consider where the controls and jack are in relation to a LH player. You'd also need to recheck the intonation after swapping the strings.

Does she want to play LH? I know a few LH people who play RH? (none the other way though...)

For that price there isn't really that much difference between the kits/guitars for me. Get her to pick whichever one she likes the look of most if she gets into it she'll upgrade and if she ditches it theres no massive financial loss.

Won't get anything better for £120...if she can up the budget to closer to £200 then a Microcube and a Vintage VS6 would be a pretty killer rig.
