Hey guys I've been wanting to learn some new songs. (I'm a fairly advanced guitar player) So what are some songs that you guys never get tired of playing?

For me it has to be No Gravity by Kiko Loureiro *If you don't know it..Listen to it and learn it!!*

Take it easy guys 'n girls

silent night, bodom night. Coolest riffs ever.

"Running Free" - Iron Maiden. It's just TOO simple.
"Hallowed be thy name" - Iron Maiden. Greatest metal song ever. The machine head cover at rock in rio 08 was pretty good.
"Fear of the Dark" - Iron Maiden.

Other then that, I just improvise stuff.

I really wish I could say you're funny and cool, but that would be like saying Africa doesn't have a poverty problem.

That's a good question, actually..Hm.

There's a few that I get kinda addicted to playing. I seem to play For Whom the Bell Tolls every time I pick up my guitar. That, and the 1994 Spider-Man theme.

Other than that, though..Bed of Razors, Seek and Destroy, Spirit in the Sky, Nothing Else Matters and...Hells Bells, oddly enough.
I come from the net. My format? Guardian. To mend and defend; to defend my new-found friends - their hopes and dreams; to defend them from their enemies.

I Cum Blood by Cannibal Corpse.

Surprisingly, I've never played it before!

Everlong - Foo Fighters.
I play by my own rules. And I have one rule; There are no rules... but if there are, they're there to be broken. Even this one.

Confused? Good.

The riff under 'Controlling faster!' from Master of Puppets. I say 'controlling' as I find it to fit the song more I think...

The opening of Pink Floyd's "Shine On You Crazy Diamond - Part 1" is my favorite ever

Learn that.

Not a song really, but the hangover riff by Lamb of God's Mark Morton is really fun to play! It can be found here:

OMG THANK YOU!

I have been looking for that lesson forever!

EDIT: On topic, I like playing anything off of MEgadeth's Youthanasia album.

Everlong - Foo Fighters.

That on guitar

On bass, "For Whom the Bell Tolls" and "Orion" by Metallica. Haven't gotten the bass solo down and usually just **** around through the interlude and improv the descending bass runs.

Finally Free - Dream Theater
The main guitar solo in Ghosts of Autumn by Spock's Beard

Oh shit I forgot bass.

On bass, Hysteria by Muse, or the keyboard arpeggios from Knights of Cydonia. Then Can't Stop. Then I just mess around.
