My bro is starting to learn bass, and we are planning on playing Enter Sandman together. I have my guitar settings, but what are good settings for his bass amp to get that Metallica sound?
Gear:
Gibson Vintage Mahogany LP
Line 6 Echo Park
Peavey Classic 30
Seagull Entourage Mini Jumbo
Vox V847A Wahwah pedal

I wouldn't really say Metallica have a signature bass sound. Not on Enter Sandman anyway.

The point of underground bands is their not popular or famous most of the time. Thus there is a good chance they suck.

If your playing Metallica, just have the guitar drown out the bass haha

The setting you are looking for is defined as the equation 1/x+10

x is obviously the guitar amp.

Just go for the Kill 'em All Ricky tone.

Less High-Mids
