Hey there.. I need help setting up a static IP address...

I like have my ip, default gateway, subnet mask, and DNS servers, but once set it to that instead of obtain automatically, I can't connect to the internet at all....

help?

isn't it your internet provider who has to fix a static for you? At times they provide you with 2 so you can obtain which ever's free. but iirc it's the provider that does that.

You're probably doing it wrong. Re-check all the numbers you're putting in.
