Stand up
Soon you will sit on the bench
of those who deny I have my soul
You sell a dream you create
Condemned by what you condemned before
Smooth are the words you sing down and high

I like watching Bottom.

Bottom ftw.

And Red Dwarf.

Which is strange for a girl.

RED DWARF FT-f*cking-W

Anyway. Straight up, no bollocks, cut-to-the-chase raw wittiness.

I love random comedy. I love it when you see **** that leaves you just thinking to yourself "wtf, that just happened."

I prefer good satire, although usually it doesn't come off a very funny until you realize what it is.

I like watching Bottom.

Bottom ftw.

YES! Hardly anyone I talk to ever watched that. Easily the best British comedy of the 90's.

You do have to be up there with current affairs. It doesn't age as well either.

Bottom was pretty good.
The type of comedy I like depends on my mood. Sometimes I like highbrow(like QI etc), sometimes I like it crude(like the bit in Blazing Saddles with the farting cowboys). Other times I like quaint(The Pirates Of Penzance i think falls into that catagory, like much of G&S).

Falklands Vet: Ugh, I was having an 'orrible dream, some insane git with a microscopic penis was singing at me

Richie: What was that film where they all ate eachother?
Eddie: Deepthroat wasn't it?

Bottom had it all, crudeness, slapstick, wit, satire, a fantastic show!

MONTY PYTHON AND THE QUEST FOR THE HOLY GRAIL! / Life of brian = WIN!

also comedy that's heavily mocks society
#18
What's House? I'd say its just cynical and bitter. Now that is funny.

I like terrible puns that no one laughs at. I guess it's the lack of funny that makes them so funny.
