Comparison of middle priced twelve string acoustic guitars, which one offers the best value and tone?

Seagull Coastline Series S12 - $459.00

Washburn D46S12 Southwest - $539.00

Martin D12X1 - $599.00

Guild GAD-F212 Grand Orchestra - $739.99

Alvarez MD8012 Masterworks Series -$729.99

Takamine EG523SC12 - $749.00

Let me know if I missed any.

I'd get the two highest priced ones just because they are prolly better quality. Just my crappy 2 cents.

Takamine EG523SC12 12-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar beats them all.

*bump*

If anyone cares, I picked up a Breedlove on sale. It's honestly played better then any of the above guitar, has bright tones like a Taylor, and is absolutely gorgeous. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I would probably go with either the guild or the alvarez. But, if you didn't want to spend quite that much, then the seagull is probably your best bet.

I would probably get the Takamine. I've played a few tak 12 strings and each one has been wonderful.

Breedlove or Alvarez. Had experience with both their 12 stringers and loved em both. I own the AD60 Alvarez (model down) and couldn't be happier.

Consider the Breedlove AC250/12 as well, $799.
That's the one I bought, got it on sale for little over four hundred dollars! The great price gave me a chance to throw in a Marshall AS50D.

GO with the martin, it'll will give you a nice warm tone that ,helped with 12 strings, will brighten up when played hard enough.

It's made of HPL. Forget the martin. It's a rip off.
