On "The Departed" he is using a harmonizer. Sounds like set to 4ths.

The hotbar should be floating parallel to the principle axis at this point. Next, take a hammer, and beat yourself in the face while crying JIHAD. problem fixed.

I'm hearing a lot of "Recto" tone here. Gonna be hard to pull that off with a 5150.

Anything you recommend that won't blow the **** out of my wallet?

Actually, in one of their pictures their guitarist is playing a Krank Krankenstein.

Might not be what they used on the recordings though, but yeah, they sound pretty sweet.

They're also using 7 String guitars.

I don't hear any recto. The tone is really smooth, not fizzy/crunchy.

That's what I thought, too. But, then you hear two guitars playing two separate parts and no harmony. Of course, he could've just turned the harmony off for that part and turned it back on for the next bit. I dunno.

well I really like the sound of the chugging in Destroying the evolution can i achieve that sound with a 5150 head and vader cab?

You'd need an EQ in the loop to get it to sound like that. Dunno why you'd want to though, very fizzy and un-defined.

I still gotta disagree man. Sounds way to sizzly for a recto. A Mark IV, would be more comparable, yet, I would say Krank, as it is very sizzly, and seen in one of the pics.
