Yea so im having an argument with the girlfriend and I always listen to music when Im down. Just wondering what your favorite "pick me up" songs are. You know the songs that just make you feel better about whatever the **** is goin down.

listen to "silver wings" and "kings on the main" by thrice. incredibly beautiful and inspirational.

also try "hope" by rush, plus "ocean" by jon butler. to beautiful acoustic solo pieces.

I know this seems stupid because he just died, but I've always listened to Carlin when I was really unhappy. Well, comedy in general, but Carlin was always helpful.

I listen to classical music sometimes...

When I'm sad, I might be more likely to listen to Pearl Jam or The Police, because some of their songs get me to thinking about stuff... especially Black by Pearl Jam or King of Pain by The Police.

Try going for some H.I.M. or something heavy like Gorgoroth or Cannibal Corpse...maybe throw in some Gojira or something, I dunno. You could always just be a heartless bastard and not care. That always seems to work for me. XD
