Not a big fan of the old Radiohead, but enjoy the gig!

BTW - The last train from Manchester Victoria back to Leeds is at around 10:50. They seem to have cancelled the last train home. A taxi to Picadilly will cost about £8, and the last train from there leaves around 11:30/11:45.

Naw, you're only excited because you're going to buy a Heat magasine.

An advert for Heat magasine.

"I'm off to London, to buy a heat magasine".

Pretty rubbish actually.

Ah right, thought it might hve been in some indie song, cause last time i went to london, people bought heat magazine because they wre in london, and they like that sort of thing

I saw Radiohead in Saint Louis this year, and it was amazing! The light show alone is worth the price of admission! The setlist is great, as long as you go into it knowing this.... They will play every song from In Rainbows, as well as Bangers n Mash from the bonus disc (at least that's what we got here in the states). Just to give you an idea of what might be played, here is the setlist I saw:

Radiohead
May 14, 2008
Verizon Wireless Amph, St. Louis

All I Need
Jigsaw Falling Into Place
Airbag
15 Step
Nude
Kid A
Wierd Fishes/Arpeggi
The Gloaming
You & Whose Army?
Idioteque
Faust Arp
Videotape
Everything In It's Right Place
Reckoner
Optimistic
Bangers n Mash
Bodysnatchers
-------------------------------
Exit Music
Myxomatosis
My Iron Lung
There There
Fake Plastic Trees
-------------------------------
Pyramid Song
House of Cards
Paranoid Android

Needless to say, a great show! Have fun!

i understand why they don't but I really wish they would just play creep and street spirit

they dont like playing creep, because they dont like creep. Although its the song that got them first popular, thom has said he doesn't like it, and doesnt like playing it. The guitar scrapes in the song were from johnny in practice, because he was trying to ruin the song, but the rest of the band like it, so it stayed. It isnt really radioheads style at all.

I think they did play street spirit a few days ago.

What a great setlist...if only they came anywhere near where I live.

Yeah, I think it'd be pretty cool if they did Creep. Just because they wouldn't even have to play it considering everybody knows it. The audience would sing/make the guitar noises and the band can go piss or something haha.

I am not that bothered about them not playing Creep, but they're playing for the fans, who pay lots of money and travel long distances just to see them.

I saw them in May. It was by far the greatest concert I've been to.

I saw Radiohead tonight ....

in victoria park london.

it was f*cking so good.

they played about 15 songs and only 2 of those were mainstream hits.

they indulge in their new records a lot too.

But i didnt mind too much because their performances are so tight and so Live. !!!!

you wont be disappointed.

Im going tommorow, and really can't wait. Im just really worried about getting back.

The last train to birmingham is at 10.50. To the people who went tonight, what time did it finish, and do you reckon i would be able to get out and to the nearest station by this time? I don't want to be waiting all night until the next train.

Other than that im ready to ejaculate intensively.
#36
It was a 25 song set, around that anyway.

Slightly disappointed with the lack of Paranoid Android, or Karma Police or something like that.

But it was still amazing

How to Disappear was truley beautiful
