Hi, so i am thinking of replacing my active bridge humbucker(bad cleans, sterile... well, on my amp that is.) and move to passives.
My current setup is Ibanez s470 with guitarheads active bridge h/b->Roland cube 20x.

i have a choice between getting guitarheads hexbuckers(neck and bridge) or save up a little bit and get a dimarzio d activator(bridge) and use my stock inf1 neck h/b(i like it, but it lacks output, and yes, i have tried a new s470 with stocks, it, for some strange reason, had far more output).

guitarheads hexbuckers:http://guitarheads.net/productpages/HexHB.htm
dimarzio d activator: dimarzio.com->humbuckers->high output->d activator bridge.

i play metal and shred, i want them to have pretty much high output, good harmonics, good cleans, and to be warm. and will these pickups do good in my mahogany body?

Pickups will make hardly any difference, a new amp would be much better. Otherwise I'd recommend a Seymour Duncan JB
ohai little sig.

Seymour Duncan invaders maybe?
very high output, but not the best for cleans
I'm thinking about getting some myself

Have I started off a debate about them now?
haha

i have tried them, good on distortion, but yeah, bad cleans. i did like the neck version though.

how about the guitarheads or dimarzio pickups i mentioned in the topic? i'm really not a fan of seymours.
