Has anyone used this amp? I think its pretty rare and there is one for sale in my area.

What kind of tone can I expect from this amp? good for metal?

It's one of their turbo valve series.
Looks like an all tube, american voiced amp.
Probably not very good for metal, since it appears to be modeled after a fender twin.

Yea its all tube. 100W.

I figure I can get a pedal for a metal tone.

Yeah, it probably won't sound too good for metal, Even with a pedal.

TS I say if its cheap (under 350 dollars) and in good shape, go for it, there are far worse amps you can buy. I have no experence with exact amp, but from what little research I have done, it looks alright, 100 watt all tube, USA made, 1100 USD new, Id say go for it even though its not a metal amp, but I would not give more than 350 for it just because any more than that you can find amps that better suit your style.

^ Thats what I was thinking he can play it until he finds someone that wants it then pawn it off on them and put that towards an amp better suited for him, But he going to have to get a good deal on this baby for this all to unfold like this.
