Well obviously, but if it were to be like 'OMGZ LULZ REPORTED ITZ BEEN DUN B4' for every repeat thread then there'd be no threads to make. So yeah.

Billy Bailey, Fry and Laurie, Phil Jupitus, the men from Who's Line is it Anyway... especially the dude who went on to be Friar Tuck in Robin Hood, Julian Barrett of Mighty Boosh fame, Omid Djilli (sp?), Julian Clarey, Eddie Izzard and Elliot Gould (Jack Gellar of Friends)

No it hasn't.

That thread is for funniest people alive. Those are two variables (people who aren't comedians and alive) that aren't necessary for this thread. Here we are naming the funniest comedians; they can be alive or dead but preforming comedy must be or have been their profession.

Monty Python Crew!!!! I love those guys..they kicks ass like in the movies holy grail and meaning of life! Can't forget the flying circus!

All due regards to his death, but from what I saw from him I wasn't impressed. He was great in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, though.

If you think Christopher Titus is funny you might consider taking your own.

There are a few for me...

Mitch Hedberg (RIP)
Dimitri Martin
Zach Galifianakis
Jim Gaffigan
Brian Regan
Steven Wright
Nick Swardson

I actually used to like Dane Cook's older stuff.

*takes own life*

EDIT: Oh and Rodney Dangerfield.

Don't want to sound like one of those people who only praise the dead, but George Carlin was friggin' hilarious.

As is Graham Chapman (my personal favorite; though not exactly stand-up).

How could I forget Dimitri Martin? His stuff is pure genius.

I've always loved Jerry Seinfeld's stand up as well.

Christopher Titus sucks. We get it, you're family is bunch of crazy hicks. You can kindly shut the fuck up about it now. It's all he ever talks about.

Same with George Lopez: You're mexican, we get it. Stop talking about it already.

Actually funny comedians: Brian Posehn, Zach Galifianakis, Mitch Hedberg, Bill Hicks, Dave Attell, David Cross, Patton Oswalt
I simply cannot take this god-awful place anymore. Goodbye to all the good people here. The rest can fuck off.

Dylan moran, Bill Bailey, Ricky Gervais, Lee Evans, Jack Dee, Eddie Izzard, Mitch Hedberg (not seen much of his but it is good what i have seen), Dave Fulton.

I would say Bill Hicks but i am kind of on the fence with him, all respect due to him of course, but i don't think i had ever seen any of his material, but i kept hearing about him, and hearing he was a genius and hilarious, so i checked out some stuff on youtube, yeah he had a good way of thinking about things and is quite funny, but he just seemed too...i dunno, i think its because alot of people try to imitate his style of delivery and his bitter cynisism, so it kind of took the edge off.

Gotta give him kudos for this though
