Yeah, i'm in a desperately needed state for a new guitar. My parents are getting pissed off because they are like, " You don't need a new guitar, they're too expensive. I want a cheap, 22 fret guitar that would be good for playing punk rock on.

Don't listen to your parents, they don't know what it's like... When you play the guitar, there's not much else you want to spend your money on anyway!

Yeah, they really good for a good price
I have one I got at Guitar Center for $119
so I got it and paid the extra $20 for the 2 year warranty
and got some 10 gauge strings.

All together it was like, $155 and some change

24 frets, super light, and a pretty good neck

Check out rondomusic, guitarfetish, Squier, or Dean in that price range.

GETS THAT AVRIL LAVINGE GUITAR!!!

But seriously, check out some Squier Affinity Teles, or, dare I say it, an Epiphone LP-100.

Cheap, but they would do for it.

I think.

EDIT: Or an Epi LP Junior or Special II.

I dunno.

Music123.com used to carry this company "Fullerton" i was in the same position as you and i snagged one brand new for $60 off their site, they don't carry them anymore. you can find them on Ebay for about the same price. fantastic guitars, i've had mine for over a year and a half now, and i plan to mod it pretty soon. but all the stock parts and stuff play really really well.

look for a Fullerton FST3, that's what i have.

+1, my Paul is great for punk rock.

What guitar do you currently have? I checked your profile, but you don't have it listed.

And I hope you reported that douche-muffin who spammed up your profile.

Well, I hope they're all banned.

Anyways, yeah, I recommend an Agile. They're the best budget guitars I've come across in my relentless search.

the basic Stratocaster cots $250

Squier, I hope you mean. A Fender Strat starts at $399.

Try some of the new squiers maybe? I think they have really stepped up their game in the last few years.

My favourite model is the Custom II. Both the P90 or the Humbucker version would suit your style. Probably more the humbucker, but try one out and see which one you prefer.

i highly recomend a dean V-X, it looks awesome and you can get pretty much any sound out of it. its $200
