We all ride, or at least most of us do. Let's see what you ride, what your mods are, or what some good spots to ride are(as some people live close to others of us). Let's keep this to the pedal variety, no motorcycles please.

I have these:

2002 Specialized Hardrock

1999 Mongoose Rockadile

I am planning to turn the Mongoose into a commuter, and the Specialized into a better trail bike, though at the moment both are stock.

I used to be big on biking, then I just stopped for a few years for whatever reason. I'm getting a new bike very soon though, hopefully Saturday. I'm thinking some sort of Specialized.

I don't think I'll ever ride a bike in Australia. You have to wear a helmet, it's the law

The old Hardrock series isn't bad, and the one I have has disc brake mounts, which is nice. Best of luck to you!

I'm only doing it cos it's four years till I can get a driving license.

The sense of speed, the disc brake, the fresh cool air, and the smell of bakeries are awesome though.

Yay! Bike thread!

1977 Peugeot PX 10
mods-
fixed gear conversion
clipless pedal setup added after this picture (eggbeaters)

I use for commuting and just for fun rides. My city is a pretty terrible place to ride. I swear that there is not one single driver that recognizes my right to ride on the streets.

so listen to this crapy story
so the other day i was staying a my girlfriends house, even though we are 19 still have to be sneeky about the whole thing
so i left my bike on a bike rack at the school a couple blocks down the street
the next day when i go to get it
all the bike racks at the school have been taken out and stacked under the basketball courts
and my bike is no were to be seen
so the school moved the bike racks and cut off my bike
and either it was taken by someone who worked there
or was left there and somebody took it
either way i am pissed because i loved that bike so much i
i was going to ride down to portland on it and take it everywear
and keep it forever but now my dreams are crushed

Cheers, I'll take that into consideration. Isn't the Stumpjumper (?) model solid too?
