What is the BEST acoustic guitar you can get on a $500-$700 budget?

I want something that has a great action and playability, with great tone. Looks matter too.

Can someone recommend me such an instrument?

Epi Masterbilts. Don't get a 200 series Taylor for the love of God.

unfortunately there arent many great guitars at that price.*
all the martins at that price use HPL sides/back which isnt actual wood.*
taylors at that price just dont sound good.*

(*IMO)

Epiphone Les Paul Classic
Marshall MG100DFX *SOLD* REPLACED WITH PEAVEY CLASSIC 30

I LOVE this guitar... (the Washburn F52SWCE) It amazes me everytime I pick it up, it's a beautiful looking, sounding, and playing instrument

I use it on all of my acoustic guitar recordings (minus the classical guitar ones, duh).

Is there anything in specific that you want to know about it?
My God, it's full of stars!

I was the one that asked you about this guitar in Original Recordings lol.

From what you've said it seems that this guitar would be ideal.... but could you tell me how it compares to a more expensive high-end Taylor/Martin?

Phhhhhhhh.... hmm, that's a bit of a hard one.

I haven't played enough Martins to really make a comparison, and the Martins I have played I haven't liked...

If I were to go off of my head, I would say that this guitar can be compared to the 600 series (with the cutaway) from Taylor. Obviously the Taylors have a bit more pizzazz and sparkle, but I hold that it is comparable nonetheless. I don't know if it is my particular guitar, but this thing is worth much more than it's price, IMO.

I suggest you play one for yourself. It's a hefty amount of money (I got mine discounted because of a flaw on the headstock), so it's not a decision you should make lightly.

this question is just subjective, opinions vary to peoples preferences. I might try save up and look for a antique nylon string classical guitar.....when i get a job.

Epiphone SG-special (cherry red)
Richwood acoustic
Lany 30 Watt amp, not sure what exact model
