I really want to make a guitar, it all sound relatively doable , but making and fretting a neck sounds a bit scary.


So, is there a place that sells premade necks?

check out Carvin.com in the parts section. they have bolt on necks for 6 and 7 string guitars also they have through body necks with paddle headstocks so you can design your own.

I have an eden neck on a strat, its pretty decent, I'd buy from them again if I wasn't capable of building something similar with better woods. But i agree with Avia, soulmate looks like they make great necks.
