So im bugging out (having a breakdown/depressed/ seriously going ****in crazy, etc etc). I need some sharp music to drown out my thoughts. No screaming. Preferably just something hard, heavy, loud, modern or semi modern hard rock that i can blast until i either go deaf or full fledged insane... whichever comes first.

Thanks

One of my friends said to the principle once,
"NO! The voices tell me not to talk to you!" *Runs away on all fours*
The principle eventually caught up to him and gave him a drug test.

Yah, yah good one! Kind of intense and driving, yet not too heavy.

Also, Shadows Fall maybe? They don't scream in all their songs.

Nah, Sunn 0))) is more chill music., to just sit a reflect, imagine, explore the depths of your mind. Them and Boris. The bands I listed do a better job at being attentive, and keeping you awake.

Sure, but if Hell O))) Ween or something doesn't drown out the screaming in your head you've got bigger problems than choosing music.

Yes, Pelican is all instrumental. Judging by your other posts in this thread there's no way you won't like Pelican's albums. I saw them last year touring with High on Fire and it was awesome.
#32
Yeah, High on Fire was pretty amazing in concert.

For TS, I've been listening to alot of OM lately, try that out. Very percussive, rythmic, yet tonally complex.

I'm the complete opposite. I end up thinking MORE when I listen to buckethead, and, primarily, listen to buckethead when I need to think...
