hey i got a question,

if i have a blister on a finger, do i keep playing with it or do i give it a day off.
I think i read that blisters form calluses so i don't want to destroy it, but i can play through the pain if it will help.

I personally wouldn't play through it; you don't want to go bursting it all over your strings.

Um.. I don't think you should play with the blisters. The first time I played on a bass I also had HUGE blisters but when they're healed you shouldn't get them again unless you play 5 hours eeryday.

In guitar if it hurts dont play because in some cases it can cause some serious damage to your hands.
