Actually, the problem is not about connecting the amp and recording. The problem with my amp is that if I plug something in the headphone/line out jack, the speaker disconnects itself (or smth of the kind, it doesn't make any sound). Is there any way to record stuff using the headphone/line out jack AND being able to hear what you are playing?

A Y cable like this could help, use with headphones. If you must have sound, then you should try micing it.

yeah man i have the AD50VT and the exact same thing happens, the headphone/line jack assumes u want to use headphones so there's no sound from the main speaker so the signal is rerouted, just patch ur headphones in through ur computer speakers,
its a shame though cuz its the best amp ive ever used its just that one thing
