It still feels a bit weird to say this, but Wall-E is possibly the best screen romance in years.

this thread already renders the "only movie" thread obsolete. that only took like 10 minutes. 10 more than I had expected....

Saw Wanted instead, too much of a line for Wall-E. Wanted was pretty badass though, good action, so so storyline.

I saw the trailer when I was seeing The Chronicles of Narnia with my dad, and it was the first part of that movie that made me want to leave. I was seriously mad.. Then I started raging inside myself because of how the poor kids of this generation are never going to know originality, and they're never going to have it as good as I did.

CGI pisses me off. How is a five year old supposed to look at CGI and think it is real? You need to use animatronix and puppets to make movies for kids, damn it. That way, they'll think the characters are real someplace.

Now, I haven't seen that movie since I was five, so I don't remember for certain.. But wasn't there a part in there where she took the kiddies to a land full of cartoon characters? If so, that needs to be done more. Like Space Jam. If you put real people in a cartoon, I can believe the cartoons exist as well. Except.. Not Michael Jordan. Because Space Jam was a pretty lame movie.

they went to the park and jumped through a chalk drawing on the pavement
then they rode a carousel
but all the horses broke away from the ride and they raced each other on a track.

Wall-e doesn't die. That one guy was just being a jerk. This was completely unnecessary I'm sure, but something had to be done.

I loved that movie, it was so sweet. I honestly nearly cried at that part at the end. This movie was more powerful than the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy combined, and deserves to sweep the oscars. Wall-E is a much better actor than freakin' Viggo Mortenson.

Oh please. You really think they'd kill a character in a kids-oriented Pixar movie about a cute robot. Ease up people.

Anyways, I saw it yesterday for real. It's amazing. One of the best Disney/Pixar movies I've seen in a while.

I loved Wall-E. It was one of the better movies I've seen lately, no lie.

I thought the symbolism was pretty blatantly obvious, but oh well, I still liked it.

Yeah I was under horrible circumstances when I saw the movie, so it's a good thing it was a good movie or else I would probably have killed myself.

Hah, what circumstances?

And it's obvious to older people but I thought they incorporated it well without making it too complicated for children but also keeping it light-hearted. The way the adults looked like babies, and the captain's first steps in his attack on the autopilot... It was simple but perfect for the spirit of the film.

I'm gonna keep it short, it involves me being an third wheel to lesbians. The other people who were supposed to go flaked out so yeah, awkward 2 hours.

It was a pretty good movie, the symbolism was obvious yeah but its for younger kids so you should kinda expect that.
Overall I would totally spend another $10 to see it again and I would give it 4.5/5 stars

SPOILER

I don't like how they ripped off Hal from 2001: A Space Odyssey , it was a nice try though and i appreciate the throw back to Stanley Kubrick
