I'm bored now that the tigers won.. Go Tigers!

But what would be the most unexpected cover song by a band...

such as Modest Mouse covering a megadeth song...

... or Fall out boy covering a Michael Jackson song...

No. It wouldn't. I wouldn't want LaBrie's voice ruining a perfectly good song like it did with the entire DT discography.

EVERY band has covered Creep. It's actually getting kind of annoying.

Muse doing an Eric Burdon n the Animals cover ("House of the Rising Sun"), or Mindless Self Indulgence doing Rush (Tom Sawyer). Maybe Scissor Sisters version of Comfortably Numb.

Knowing the song, that's not weird at all.

haha I love Jack Johnson's voice. James LaBrie's is just...nails on a chalkboard, man. DT's music is so damn good, but...come on.

Rage Against the Machine's album "Renegades." "It consists entirely of cover songs and includes covers of artists such as Bob Dylan, Minor Threat, EPMD, MC5, the Rolling Stones, Cypress Hill, and Devo." They covered each of them extremely well though, if I didn't know any better, I would have thought Rage wrote every one of them. The Minor Threat song ("In My Eyes") and the Devo song ("Beautiful World") were the only two songs that don't completely match Rage's style.

True that, I never liked LaBrie's voice.

That's why I listen to Liquid Tension Experiment. John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess from DT and Tony Levin on bass and Mike Portnoy on drums and no singing.

Madonna covered Pantera (I don't know which song exactly, but it's true...look it up).
Between the Buried and Me covered "Bicycle Race" by Queen.
Iron Maiden covered "Bohemian Rhapsody," also by Queen.
All I could think of that's not been mentioned, but the Madonna one is real!
