I found it very interesting. Didn't really sound like melodeth, but more like sludge/doom. For that reason, I liked it. What kind of gears are you using?

It sort of sounded like older In Flames, but more gloomy. For the first few minutes at least.

The tone wasn't too bad...being able to hear you hitting the strings kind of ruined a bit of it. But, it was still a good recording none the less.

Maybe speed it up a little and make the rhythms a little more intense?

Not really my cup of tea, but I can still appreciate some good music.

Good job!

CRIT MINE?

Thanks for the crits guys! Im still in the process of finding a competent drummer in my area that doesnt just play pop, also trying to find a 5 string bassist is very difficult.

Also until i get a new laptop im stuck using my mac + garageband.

despite playing alone on a recorded track.. not bad!!!
exiting guitar riffing, try to look for a band and your off..

that was really good atually, lack of instruments means that a totally fair judgement isn't available, but your riffing in it was pretty good, a bit slow for melodeath, as someone said earlier, more like Doom metal, but labels don't really mean anything, so keep going, I'm sure there's a drummer around your area hiding somewhere and why do you need a 5 string bassist?

not too bad, but next time try playing farther away from your amp and mic because you can hear the strings way too much. You may want to consider spending some more time on your tone too because its a little bit fuzzy and is overly condensed it seems. Not too much I can say about the song itself because I've never really been a metal guy.

I need the 5 string bassist because i play a 7 string, i dont mind if they just tune down but having 5 strings is a hell lot more convenient, anyways thanks man and yea its not really melodeth but alot of my older stuff is so...

Anyone else?

Don't like death metal too much, but the riffs were cool. Just get a decent program(like someone said), and someone to do the drums/bass.

And I guess it wouldn't hurt if the song was a little faster.

Nice ideas.

Yo! It sounds like it could be something really cool, however, you need to make a better recording using some software and a click for timing. At least if there was something for drums it would make it more interesting. But the overall riff was good.

Keep working on it!! If nothing else it will inspire you to do something else.

Clean tone was kinda weird sounding

distorted riffing was a little sloppy

It seemed like yo were doing chords with alot of strings with the distortion up witch in my experience sounds kinda bad.

Overal recording quality was sketchy with the volume especially - but mine is too so dont ask me how to fix it...

No standout parts that jumped out at me that were GREAT but keep working on it!!
