I know this meme is pretty old, but after being Rick Roll'd quite a number of times, I've come to enjoy this song. What are your opinions on it?

i agree with TS. It grows on you after a few Rick Rolls. Video is still awful though. I've actually downloaded the song now and it's on my phone.

It's alright. I'm seeing Rick Astley live on the 12th
The will to neither strive nor cry,
The power to feel with others give.
Calm, calm me more; nor let me die
Before I have begun to live.

does he have fans, or does he just receive 4chan support?

My mind is going. I can feel it.

I don't see why people get pissed off when they get rickrolled. It could be a lot worse like meatspin or mudfall or goatse or tubgirl, the list goes on.

He's actually taking part in an 80's revival tour, which is playing in The Quarry in Shrewsbury. I can't think who else is there, but I know Bananarama and Toyah are. Though I'd guess a big reason he got added to the bill was because of his internet fame

The black guy jumping on the fence is genius. The song itself definitely isn't bad though.

It's catchy as hell. I like the song, about as much as I like other cheesy 80's songs. They're just kinda fun.

It's awesome. Catchy as anything and fun.
You are like a hurricane
There's calm in your eye.
And I'm gettin' blown away
To somewhere safer
where the feeling stays.
I want to love you but
I'm getting blown away.

It's not bad. I sing it at rugby training to the guys. It's funny as hell. Although the video clip is absolutely shocking.
