Hi all, there are some good deals for a vox ac30 and fender silverface champ.
What would suit better for blues-classic rock-hard rock.

Wait, Champ?

AC30 all the way.

A Champ is only 6 watts.

Well im pretty much a home player.. and the 30 watts full tube was really worrying me >_<.
#4
Well, I would still go for the AC30. Because it's so freakin awesome.

An AC30 is going to blow your brains out. This is not even a fair comparison lol.

Blues- Both would work. But I think a cranked Fender would sound better here.
Classic Rock- Depends on the band really.
Hard Rock- Neither has gain channels suitable for this.

Well Ac30/AC15 are all around the same price here, but theres a used ac30 going up for a pretty nice price atm.

The AC30 is very loud for around the house. If you never leave, just go with the Champ. If you have any designs on gigging/jamming, then go with the AC30.

The Vox has a very usable master volume (you can get decent tone at low volumes), but I use smaller amps around the house.
You Don't Need a halfstack.

You Don't Need 100W.
