when I use chord tabs to play acoustic rhythm on a song, I can't really go about figuring out the strumming pattern, since acoustic guitars in songs aren't as distinctive and prounounced, as opposed to an electric guitar. What I usually do is do 8 eight notes on each bar. Is that like a very standard strumming pattern? I saw a live version of the song, Lyin eyes, and Glenn Frey seems to be d ing that kind of strumming pattern on the song, except in the beginning when he starts out with an quarter note strum.
