i've been getting on the internet in small doses (such as right now) using the Linksys router of an unknown location where i'm staying, until i get the cable hooked up. is it illegal to do this, and can they track it? i'm trying to not get on when anyone else might be using it, just incase they could tell if something was up. any answers welcome.

SO if Janne and Alexi did a gay porn, would I be the only one willing to buy it?

That's a dumb question, you know everyone in here would buy it too. I know I would!

Search for Artefact.

I used to do that all the time. It's probably illegal, but no one cares. Unless you happen to be hacking the Pentagon's internets, then you might be in trouble.

I'm pretty sure it isn't illegal. I did it for over 2 years until my parents decided to set up a wireless network in our home.

I'm actually posting this using the same thing!

Illegal? Possibly.

American? You bet your ass it is. You're living the good life at the expense of someone else. Is that not what the Founding Fathers fought for?

It is illegal, but they're not gonna know unless they manually search.
I have my own router so I needent worry. And I never check if anyone else is using it so I wouldn't know.
HEY
Do you like anime/manga?
PM me about buying the graphic novels I'm trying to sell

It should be. I used to steal it because my wireless wasn't working (not our fault, Comcast is full of dicks), but it's back up. Now that it is, my internet has been significantly slower because of neighbors stealing it. Pisses me off because my porn downloading has been slow.

I don't think most people care, I used to steal my neighbors internet all the time, I don't think they knew, but I just used it to surf the web, I didn't know how to steal **** haha.

Usually if you have to ask if something is illegal you shouldn't be doing it. Yes they should at least try to secure their connection but that still doesn't make it okay. If your neighbour left their back door unlocked would you be asking us if it was illegal to walk in uninvited and eat their food?

It's very much illegal. I've been addressed by officers of the law concerning this very action on more than one occasion. But that was when I was using it outside of my home. I'm now piggy backing off someone's connection as I type this very post...
