Hey UG i need your help
im interested in this rg770lb that my friend has and he wants to sell it for 470 bucks heres the specs

bridge:edge lo pro
24 frets
fast neck
bass wood body
maple neck
rosewood fret board
white saphire shark tooth inlays
but heres the catch
he cracked the neck and didnt properly repair it
there are big chips on the body
doesnt have the original volume and tone knobs(no biggy)
should i still get it it doesnt have a case or strap that comes with it so...:S HELP!!!!
should or shouldnt i get it????

also it is a pretty big crack its from the upper part of the second fret then around the backing of the neck all the way up to the backing of the locking nut then continues to the lower backing part the second fret.

For $300 I'd buy it and replace the neck - even if you splashed out and paid $200 for a replacement it's still just about worth it for that guitar.

Ibanez are re-issuing the 770 as a limited edition, you'll be lucky to get much change from $1000 I reckon.

+1. Also, you may not need to replace the neck, but just get it glued back together.
