I'm not an expert on pre-NES home consoles.

I found a briefcase full of giant floppy discs with Atari logos on all of them. Some games were Flight Simulator II and One on One with Larry Bird and Julius Erving.

These discs are far to large to fit into a computer. How do I play them?

Damn I like to think of myself as quite the game knowing person. But have never heard of anything like that.

Well before the nice friendly '90s 3.5" floppy disks there were 5.25" and 8" disks for PCs.

I'd say they were 5.25".

Yeah, it's a standard 5.25" floppy disk. I've got hundreds of them around the place...and a couple of machines that can read 'em.
