Does anybody know if there are sites or anything with really cool unique basses for relatively cheap? (up to 300$)

What's unique? Unique - you won't know anyone else with one? Unique - doesn't look like any other instrument? Unique - has its own tone?

Several years ago I saw this totally awesome bass at the local pawn shop, which happened to be a BC Rich Warlock, I got it used for $90. Years later, they were everywhere, now they're just frowned upon.

Is there such a thing as a heavy riff with out chugging on the e string?

You are unique just for existing, just like everybody else.

if you play unusually, you don't need a weird bass.

I wouldn't call what we have here on the Bass Forum a mentality. It's more like the sharing part of an AA meeting.

Wait wait!!! what was the ebay company the fitz posted with the bizarre billion string basses and numerous other strange musical creatures?

tropicalmoonmusic was the main one, but silverspringmusic has some strange ones too.

I was looking at a used Warwick Vampyre LTD 5'er for about $200. I went home to grab my wallet and came back and some jerk with an epic beard got it already..

My bass is unique, you will NEVER find another P-Bass with the same colour, but in general its a poor quality bass...

I think you need to look up the definition of unique.

I think you need to look up the definition of sarcasm.

TS, check out Italia basses, they're pretty unique-looking and sound good. Also search for some old Teisco or Silvertone basses.

I think you need to look up the definition of unique.

The components of all basses are made of organic parts which have unique DNA combinations, plus, no two bodies that are cut are the same, down to the atoms they will always be the different.
Even though the laws of the universe and probabilities indicate that most probably there is somebody identical to you in some point in the universe and the space-time continuum, but you are still unique because you are the only one ocupying the moment of space-time in which you are.

Plus, It's called humor.
