I found out about this band a couple of weeks ago when it was posted on another forum:
SECOND WIND "Security" 12" EP (R&B Records, 1984)

Perhaps the last great harDCore record to come out at the tail end of the first wave, this band that featured Bert Queiroz (ex Youth Brigade/Double O) and Steve Hangsen (ex Minor Threat) dropped this killer DC HC gem whilst there contemporaries were holding hands and playing bongos on the eve of the "Revolution Summer"... pretty much picks up where M.T's classic "Out Of Step" EP left off without missing a beat. Powerful, driving hardcore with emotion, hooks and (just enough) melody... this is a criminally slept on release.

It's really good, check it out if you haven't already!

This is good stuff, cheers for the link. It does sound a hell of a lot like Minor Threat, but it's a nice alternative.
