I did! Saturday, August 9 , Ft. McCoy WI.

So, has anyone seen either the Scorpions or Alice recently? From what I understand, they've been putting on some great shows, but I'm looking for some UGer's experiences.

First of all, I enjoy deathcore for it's complexity and it's the only genre heavy enough for me

I want an amp good for playing hippie tunes. I want it to be an actual amp, not a tube amp.

lol Mitch Hedburg ftw

I'm a little dissappointed at all the Alice/Scorpions hate

I mean, Alice was basically the first shock rocker. He obviously influenced Gwar, Rob Zombie, etc. Some may not like his music, but you can't deny that he puts on a great show from a visual perspective.

And then we have the Scorpions. Matthias Jabs? Michael Schenker anyone? They really forwarded the shred movement. Ask any modern day professional shred guitarist about their influences and most if not all will have the Scorpions on their list.

My god pit, you really let me down

Thanks to all of the sensible people though
