My valveking is really messing up. I believe it is the tubes though. Im getting horrible buzzing sound and no volume on clean and very very little volume on distortion. Im not sure how to tell if a tube is blown though...my big tubes are burnign orange but sometimes they get a faint blue color to them...i believe it is my preamp tubes because they arent burning hardly any

can you guys give me any insight on what might have happened? I dont wanna waste money buying preamp tubes if i dont have to

and I cant get pics up no camera

please help?

I wish I could help more , but I don't own a tube amp, yet.

Sounds kind of like a tube problem. might as well replace them anyways, the stock ones in the VK are blah.

Preamp tubes or the big ones too? I really dont want to pay for the costs of biasing if i change the big ones

It may not be the "big ones"/power tubes.
It could well be the preamp tubes, which you can change yourself and they are cheaper.

It could very well be the power tubes also.
I'd just get them all replaced.
It may get a bit pricey depending on how much your tech charges you,
But... it shouldn't cost too much over 100-150 bucks to get all your tubes replaced with good ones (but i'm not sure on how many tubes the VK has).
Might as well get them replaced too, the tone will improve too.
