basically, i've only ever played acoustic, and i'm getting an electric is a week or so. i know very little about pedals, when it comes to particular brands and their "trademark sound". what pedals would be good for blues-rock/classic rock?

dont get pedals.. stick with just an amp with a good tone you like

theres a pedal for just about any kind of modification you can think of.. but distortion pedals murk your amps tone and "blues-classic rock" are more mixing the right guitar with the right amp then pedals.

hendrix used fuzz pedals.. but you dont NEED a fuzz pedal to play hendrix.

you should get a wah wah pedal tho..hendrix and alot of dudes used them.. those are cool..
but I wouldnt recommend distortion pedals for blues-rock.
