Hello everyone. Ive been playing guitar for quite a while. I took some lessons a few years ago but not for very long. I was pretty much self taught from there on. I have been playing more lately and would really like to learn some theory. What I really want to learn/understand are scales. Could you recomend some good books/site/ anthying that would help me with this? thanks.

Would you rather learn from a book or videos? If you like the book approach I like Mel Bay stuff or Jamey Abersold for jazz. For videos I like the Really Learn Guitar series. They're on DVD or you can download them. Depends what level you really need, but they pretty much go from beginning to pretty advanced. Lots of free stuff on the site, too.
