Hi all, I've been playing for about 6 months and now a bit but still am overloaded with questions. I have just one that's bugging me now, however. I use medium gauge strings, but am looking to switch to light just because I hear it's easier on my fingers (they don't hurt but I'm just looking to make bends easier and such). So, can anyone tell me if I switch to light strings, will they be more prone to snapping? I.E-Do they snap more often than mediums?

not if you dont tune to G standard....

just try not to go too crazy on the bends lol, its easier ya but they arent lighter so you can bend up 2 whole steps.

I can't imagine anything worse than shagging to Mark Knopfler.

Maybe shagging Mark Knopfler, but that's about it.
