in a normal 1 - 4 - 5 twelve bar blues in G, could you play a D double diminished scale over the turn around when it gets the D9?
You'd probably have better luck in the regular Musician's Forum.
Can you explain what you mean by double diminished? I have never heard of this and I can probably help you if you tell me where you are coming from. But a helpful hint would be D# diminished arp.over D9
What notes are in D Double Diminished? That is a non-standard term.
a D double diminished starts with a D (the root note), goes up a half step, then a whole step, then a half step, then a whole step, and so on
That would just be a D half-whole diminished scale. I've never heard it refered to as a double diminished scale....
