Not very easily so it seems. It's getting more and more difficult and prices for most basic things are rising weekly.
NOPE.

Nope, you'd be hard pushed in the developed world to find one that is.

is it hard to find a job with a decent salary?
Sometimes, depends what sector.

is the cost of living high?
Goes down as you move away from London

hows the health care?
Rubbish! But at least it's free.

how free is college?
Free until you're nineteen, there's grants and loans available too...oh, you mean university? Nah you have to pay usually, but it's assessed on your parent's incomes so the government could help if you're too poor. I have no idea what the costs are for foreign students though. Check it out yourself.

are the people there as ignorant as they are here?
It would be impossible to generalise either way.

would i be able to move there an be able to get on my feet somewhat quickly?
So long as you speak English.

do you guys really hate americans?
Again, can't generalise. Most xenophobia is directed towards Asian and other European countries.
#16
first, is the government just as intrusive as america's? Probably. More so, in terms of CCTV.

is it hard to find a job with a decent salarie? Given that you can't spell "salary" you may struggle to meet the English requirements for anything above minimum wage.

is the cost of living high? Yes. Massively so, in London in particular.

hows the health care? It does the job...just. You're more likely to die of an infection you picked up in hospital than the one you went in with.

how free is college? Not at all free if you're a foreigner.

are the people there as ignorant as they are here? There are ignorant people everywhere.

would i be able to move there an be able to get on my feet somewhat quickly? If you have a large fund for when things will inevitably get difficult, you'll probably manage.

do you guys really hate americans? Some do, some don't. Most don't care either way.

an what else should i know? Lern2english. Srsly.

first, is the government just as intrusive as america's? They're socialist, of course they're intrusive, but there are benefits to that, healthcare free at the point of use and such.

is it hard to find a job with a decent salarie? Not if you're qualified and have drive.

is the cost of living high? Higher than you'll be used to.

hows the health care? See above. Generally it's pretty good, people like to moan about it, but that's because it's free at the point of use, but the standard is actually pretty high.

how free is college? It's not free really, you can get grants and scholarships if you are gifted enough to earn them.

are the people there as ignorant as they are here? Depends on the issue.

would i be able to move there an be able to get on my feet somewhat quickly? Probably,

do you guys really hate americans? Many of their attitudes yes, them as a people or nation? No.

an what else should i know? Don't talk to anyone wearing excessive amounts of sports gear outside of a gym.

basically you will love it if you dont smoke, dont drink, dont drive, dont eat much, wear several layers of clothing to save heating costs, dont go outside after dark incase you get stabbed and have no life ambition.

Just joking but things are incredibly different to a few years ago.

ok first, i can spell, that was just a typo

my qualifications: well im a carpenter right now an the only reason is because i cant afford school

i am however fairly decent at writing, grammer, spelling, but mainly i write like an author--in fact im writing a book

when i do go to school it would be in the history department, historiologist, history teacher, archaeologist, etc.

and i love the country, in fact i hate the city, too crowded and it smells

america's already in a recession so i guess we beat you to it

It's worth pointing out that most UK uni's will charge an "international rate" to foreign students for tuition, several times what they charge native Brits. So the education aspect of it might not work out for you if you can't afford it in the USA, especially with the costs of emmigration.

Most US students in the UK are pretty well off with mummy and daddy footing the bill.

All of them will, and it'll be £20k or thereabouts a year.

On the point of healthcare, the NHS really isn't as bad as the media makes it out to be. Plus, it's only over budget by 1% or so, which is less than most other government instituions.

Although now we have ESBL hitting the news... which I knew about 2 years ago If it was known about, you would've thought they'd do something more about it...

TS, that was an ignorant question ironically. I've moved all over the world (almost) and guess what? People are people. There's no such thing as one country that's "smarter" than another country. You can find idiots, geniuses and average people anywhere you go.

Extended Spectrum Beta-Lactamase IIRC. New superbug.
The ESBL is just the enzyme used for chewing up beta-lactam antibiotics (penicillins and derivatives).

Probably means yet another "cillin" has become ineffective against some uber-bug.

btw, another -ve of the UK, the NHS seems incapable of hiring hot nurses, wtf is that all about? Glasgow has a nurse training course and it's teeming with hotties, where the hell are they going?
