I've been playing for a year and a half and have been taking it pretty seriously. I'd really appreciate criticisms or approvals. Either way.. tell me what you think.

Also keep in mind this is improvisation.

i think it's nice

... do you listen to blind melon

yeah i love blind melon. i just saw them in my hometown a couple weekends ago. they put on a great show. the new lead singer sounds a lot like shannon. he made it clear that he wasn't trying to replace him... only keep the band alive. I respect that

man. like how i called that? haha your playing REALLY reflects it, from minute 1:00 to 2:00 i could have sworn i was listening to their self titled cd. i thought you did a great job though man, maybe it was just really my style. and yeah, i like their new cd too... some great rock man. i was tentative about it and really thought they should have changed their name...but it's good. and i'm really jealous, that you saw 'em live that is.

Very nice job dude. I love the whole feel to the song. However, to me it sounds very Santana. Very good tone and very nice playing. You use the scales well. Which is something I've never learned.

yeah they definitely put on a show. played a lot of their old **** which i was really looking forward to. if they come around your town definitely check them out. they came to starkville (where my college is) and it was only a $15 cover. tell me thats not a deal.

That was a very tight track. I liked it a lot. All improvised?

What kind of gearz are you using, besides the les paul? It could just be the recording quality, but your tone is a tad bit on the thin side. It's still pretty good, though.

Yeah i agree with you on that. That probably has a lot to do with my amp. Its an mg30.. i started with it. Tried to upgrade today actually, to an avt100x. It didn't go too well though : https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=900089

I also have a digitech rp250. It was cheap but its pretty cool i bought it right after i got my first guitar and had a lot of fun with it. And thats all I've collected so far.
