In my pedal board rig, I have various pedals, and the other day I wasn't getting any sound.

Through troubleshooting (going one pedal at a time), I determined that the issue was with a Boss DD5 pedal. If I remove it from the chain, I get a signal. The red LED light does light up, and again, no sound (I am using a Boss AC adapter to power it).

My question is, what cause my pedal to fry? I've had it for over 10 years, it has seen some stage time. The last 6 or 7 years, it has been in storage, so really no problems until now.

Also, can it be fixed?

thanks

Considering that you can get a DD-7 for 179 new and a DD-3 for 129 new, you have to ask yourself if it's worth it....unless there's some sentimental attachment.
I'm putting my GAS on hold
for a couple months in order to pimp my ride.

Don't judge me.

Its still weird, the pedal has been in storage and stopped working, would still like to know what happened.

dd7=160
dd-3=110

Obviously he doesnt want to buy a whole new pedal if he doesnt have to...
