I have a epiphone les paul standard that plays awesome and i have change all the electronics on ( 1 master volume, 1 master tone, push-button killswitch, and toggle) and change the bridge pickup to a seymour sh-11 which I cant stand and most of the time use the stock neck pickup cause Id rather have my sound be too warm then too bright, now hears my question should I start looking for a new les paul maybe and gibson or epiphone elitist for the quality wood's effect on my tone or should I stick with the Epiphone standard and keep looking for the right sounding pickups?
