Watched it for the firs ttime last night

Thought it was brilliant. I've always been a huge Kubrick fan. I just wanted everyone else's opinion on it.

The suicide scene was stuck in my mind until recently (last year or so) I saw it again and loved it. An incredibly good movie with an awesome storyline.

one of my favorites

You are EXTREMELY WRONG! I have played it. I own an 18W and it would be an awful stereo amp, it's way too bright, breaks up too easily and so on. Secondly, why would a guitar store sell an hifi amp.

I liked Kubricks War movies, Paths Of Glory and Full Metal Jacket are both amazing films

There is only one solution. We need to bomb outer space. That should show those terrorist bastards who's who

Great movie. Don't remember very much of it. But that sniper part was cool.

He does shoot her in the end, right? Totally forgot how that ends.

Loved it.

The entire bit with the drill sergeant ripping the sh*t out of everyone wasn't even going to be in the film. The guy playing ther drill sergeant was the military advisor for the film IIRC, and Kubrick came across a video of him spouting off insults for 5 minutes without pausing or repeating himself whilst being pelted with softballs. Kubrick loved it so much he had that scene written in.

ha ha I LOVE that film, the training stuff with the drill sargent is much better than any of the real war stuff though.

The best movie ever. No more is need to be said. Have watched it 7-8 times and it is still just as good.
