My signature shows my gear. So, from my guitar, I have a Monster "Instrument Cable" going to my Boss pedal, then a DiMarzio cable coupler to my Ibanez pedal, then from there I have a Monster "Microphone Cable" to my amp. Now, the way it is, there is no noise. However, when I swap the order of the Monster cables, I get this loud annoying noise from my amp. Anybody have this happen to them??? I went to Guitar Center to get a new cable, and they sold me the "Microphone" cable. Didn't realize this until WAY later when I reconnected my gear after a bit of housecleaning . The only thing I can come up with is the possibly the resistance value of the cables. But then again, is there much difference between a Mic cable and an Instrument cable? Please, if anyone could shed some light here, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
