Does anyone use this program? If so, would you say it is worth the investment, and does it help you compose and improvise to where you can just solo over it?

Yes, it's a very nice program. It makes a good practice tool.

You can just type any progression you want into it, choose a style, and it'll make
a song for you with lots of options. You can let it improvise a solo if you want.
Then you can view it played back on the guitar fretboard in any position.

It works best for jazz, but the newest version might be a lot better since it uses
real instruments for the sounds. The older versions are just MIDI which just don't
do most instruments all that well.
