Firefox has been crashing quite frequently for me recently .... Is this happening to anyone else?

I'm using 3.0 by the way.

There is your problem.

3.0 is still glitchy I hear...

Damn...I use the portable version. It's easier and you can tote it around anywhere with you. I'm able to have the same extensions and everything. I'd advise you to get that one instead.
Why look a man in the eye when you can shoot him in the back?

If you can't convince them; confuse them.

Oh, that reminds me.. I forced a firefox 2.x addon to be compatible with firefox 3.. I'll disable it, and report back.

i dunno, IE kept doing that to me, so i switched to fire fox.

fire fox has only done it to me a few times.

even when it crashes tho, you can restore your session if it's important.

No I removed my FF2 install before the FF3 install.
And I've had IE7 on here the whole time, Opera and Safari sadly aren't even up to par with IE imo.

IE is the worst. THE WORST.

If you can make something worse than IE, that's quite the accomplishment.

I've just updated to the very latest version of Firefox (like, this afternoon), although I'm not sure what number it is exactly. It's been fine for the 4 hours i've been using it.

Firefox 3 crashed on me once... also happened to be today.
You can restore all the tabs you were on so its really no biggie.

If by "clean" you mean "get a finger right up in there and do a good bit of spelunking" then i guess "at any given opportunity" is my answer.
