When your lover has something better to do,
And everyone you turn to turns away.
And your friends no longer appeal to you,
Gina won’t you come out and play.

When you’re spending all your time waiting,
And your thoughts are led astray.
And you find there’s no point in debating,
Gina won’t you come out and play.

When the faded morning sunrise,
Makes the sky a bleaker gray.
And you can’t bear to open your eyes,
Gina won’t you come out and play.

When you’re kicked out onto the street,
And you’ve got nowhere to stay.
And you’re forced to sleep on concrete,
Gina won’t you come out and play.

When all you really need is a friend,
And you drop to your knees and pray.
That there is more, that this is not the end,
Gina won’t you come out and play.

When you need someone to hold you,
And tell you that it’s gonna be okay.
And that no one will ever hurt you,
Gina won’t you come out and play.

When you look at me with your eyes gleaming,
And walk over here with no delay.
Then I’ll know that I am just dreaming,
Gina won’t you come out and play.

When I try to look into your eyes forever,
Knowing that I can’t look away.
And if you want to complete my endeavor,
Gina won’t you come out and play.

When you walk down the block looking shy,
But with beauty that lights up the day.
I always thought angels could fly,
Gina won’t you come out and play.

When every time I see you is bliss,
And I can’t think of anything to say.
But if the world suddenly ended, you’d be the only one I’d miss,
So Gina won’t you come out and play.

When your lover has something better to do,
And everyone you turn to turns away.
This has an uncomfortable rythym to it.
And your friends no longer appeal to you,
Wow, emotional; real.
Gina won’t you come out and play.

When you’re spending all your time waiting,
And your thoughts are led astray.
Slightly cheesy.
And you find there’s no point in debating,
The word "debating" here drags on too much.
Gina won’t you come out and play.

When the faded morning sunrise,
This just doesn't do anything for me.
Makes the sky a bleaker gray.
Neither does this...
And you can’t bear to open your eyes,
...but I think this does.
Gina won’t you come out and play.
This is where I like the addition of the repeated last line. It starts to evolve now and its placement in amongst this is authentic.

When you’re kicked out onto the street,
And you’ve got nowhere to stay.
Bad start, but an emotional second line.
And you’re forced to sleep on concrete,
Flows like concrete, I'm afraid.
Gina won’t you come out and play.

When all you really need is a friend,
And you drop to your knees and pray.
That there is more, that this is not the end,
Gina won’t you come out and play.
OK, yes its emotional but its emotion I've seen, heard and read many times before and it doesn't feel totally in its rightful place in this piece. Sorry.

When you need someone to hold you,
And tell you that it’s gonna be okay.
And that no one will ever hurt you,
Gina won’t you come out and play.
Its going on for too long now.

When you look at me with your eyes gleaming,
And walk over here with no delay.
Then I’ll know that I am just dreaming,
Gina won’t you come out and play.
Same problem as above.

When I try to look into your eyes forever,
Knowing that I can’t look away.
And if you want to complete my endeavor,
Gina won’t you come out and play.
Elbeit it has flow issues, its real and lifelike.

When you walk down the block looking shy,
Opens spectacularly...
But with beauty that lights up the day.
...but ends on a cliche.
I always thought angels could fly,
Gina won’t you come out and play.
Nice question here.

When every time I see you is bliss,
This doesn't make sense.
And I can’t think of anything to say.
But if the world suddenly ended, you’d be the only one I’d miss,
So Gina won’t you come out and play.
Nice way to end.

If this was shortened, altered a little here and there; makeup added, you know, then it could be really nice.
Not that it isn't a pleasant read as it is, its just too long to be anything more.

I do hope I've helped and not just insulted you. I think this site had made me a little more harsh than I would like to be.
