Could someone give me amp settings for the Beatles' SGT. Pepper album? Particularly the first song and reprise and Fixing a Hole solo(it's probably the same settings)

Settings thread.

Still though, depends on what amp you have, same settings don't sound the same in every amp...

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

It's just some dirt. What pedals do you have.

Haven't heard it in a while but iirc, I'd say it's pretty mid-y and trebly rather thsn moreso bassy.

I don't have any pedals I'm planning on putting the gain on 10 for some fake "fuzziness" unless there is something better for that. I have a Fender amp.

Well here's what I'd do.

Put on your gain channel and adjust the gain till it is the appropriate amount.

Once you've got that...eq. Put all the eq knobs (treble/bass/middle) straight up (at 5) and go from there. Listen to teh recording and adjust...if it needs treble, add it, if there is too much bass take it away.

It'll help your own ear and you'll get the tone.

Hope it helps.
