As to show where I'm at: I've been playing for about 6 months. I've pretty much got all Jack Johnson songs down - including 'solos'. I'm working on some John Mayer, though it takes me longer to learn his songs. There's also a few examples in my profile of what I can play.

So I'm looking for some acoustic songs that are - not too tough obviously, possibly which take a few weeks to learn decently - but are challenging and sound good when played unaccompanied.

Grateful for any help

drive - incubus?

I'm still trying to get that one down

Edit: although, now that I'm actually looking at the tabs again it doesn't seem too difficult

maybe razor by the foo fighters, or ballad of the beaconsfield miners

i wouldn't call razor an intermediate song...definitely more of a beginner piece.

learn some john butler trio, he has got some amazing acoustic songs.

Thanks guys, those are some good songs, though perhaps a little easier than I'm looking for (I could probably get them down in a few days).

He is a great acoustic player, that'll give me something to aim for when I want a challenge.

Thanks all, some great input so far, I'm going to work on a few of those. I'll gladly accept any more suggestions you have.
