Some of you might already know that I'm modding my old Squier for good.

Now, a question regarding the bridge and string spacing.

First, which bridge would be best?

And would the string spacing of an American-bridge work with the nut already on my Squier neck?

By the way; I can use either American or MIM, MII, etc. spacing because the holes for the tremolo have not yet been drilled on the body.

Thanks for the input!

You have to match the bridge and nut to those originally installed on the squire.

Strats have two spacing that I'm aware of, vintage and modern, now I imagine a squire has a modern string spacing, and so will your new trem have to have.
